I'm sitting here, reflecting about my summer. There wasn't much to it really. But that's just okay, because it was summer and that is enough to be good. This summer Brock and Chaley have been here, and I was so happy they were. Especially Chaley, because she puts up with me alot :) we built a blanket fort and watched Harry Potter, and made a slip-n-slide, and have done some crafts.
This summer I have gone to Lake Powell, Seven Peaks, have swam down the richfield canal with Cameron, Amy and Rhett and watched fireworks afterward, and then once again with 3 of my favorite One Voice girls. Then there was also girls camp which is always so much fun.
A while ago Nicole came down and we took our annual bike ride to Loa. We never have a good reason to go, but we do anyway :) we also slept on the tramp, and it brought back a lot of really goood childhood memories.
Another fun memory this summer was late-night swimming with nicole, my mom, and my grandma :) and then another time with our mutual group.
Another favorite day was going up with my dad on the mountain. It was raining a little and that made it so pretty and special.
There has been four-wheeler rides, fishing, and picnics, and staying up til four in a tent, and running through sprinklers, and just plain running of course. And although I have been busy working, I'm happy to say that I appreaciated this summer. There are times when I really miss my childhood summers. They seemeded much longer and much happier. I miss roller-blading, and night-games every night, and horse-back riding, hikes, lemonade-stands, hut-making, camping trips, lake powell trips, water-fights, sleeping on the tramp, bike-riding, hide-and-seek, puppies, otterpops, fourth of July with cousins, and so much more. It's good to be young and have so many possibilities :)
