The Forgotten Carols

One Voice rocks my socks. They are all great kids with voices like angels. I have awesome leaders, and I love the performances and songs.

Tuesday night was not about One Voice, but I didn't know that yet. I sang in The Forgotten Carols, and I had no idea what was in store. I'm back. I'm changed. And for four hours the veil was thin.

Before the big performance, Micheal Mclean came in to give us tips and stuff, well...that's what I thought he was doing. Micheal Mclean is my definition of an artist...creates things of beauty, hilarious, does things just a little differently, and he's a bit off his rocker if you know what I mean. A giant among men. After making us laugh and encouraging us, he asked to offer the prayer. His prayer sounded like a little kid talking to his dad, but it was so sincere. I will never forget the things he said though.." Heavenly Father, tonight I do not ask you to help these kids sing their best. I don't even ask that they remember the words or the notes...but tonight I pray for them. Father I know that their are many who suffer in this room...bless them, heal them, help them with temptations, or relationships or whatever it may be. If they get anything from tonight, let it be that peace. . .your peace."

Healed, helped, blessed, and peaceful here I stand. When it says the hosts of heaven will sing praise unto Him, that is exactly what I felt apart of. It was absolutely a miracle.

Everyone has a carol...let yours be to the king!

PS> LISTEN TO THE SONGS, GET THE CD, OR SOMETHING!
